Whenever this creature blocks, you may discard
an instant or sorcery card. If you do, create an
X/X blue Elemental creature token, where X is
the discarded card's converted mana cost. Until
end of turn, any damage that would be dealt to
Salamancer is instead dealt to that creature token
(if it's still on the battlefield).
Some amphin don't undergo metamorphosis to their adult stage. Some assume them less capable for it, but this quickly proves to be a mistake.
