Samuel Joseph "Jay" Warren Jr. was born in
Washington Parish, LA. He was married 3 times;
his first 2 wives died without issue, and he wed
Lula at the age of 40. They were the parents of 6
children - the last was born when he was 61. Jay
was a farmer, living his whole life in LA, and
dying there in 1945, in Franklin. He was 71.
