Sarah Jane Archibald was born in Musquodoboit,
NS, the 5th generation of Archibalds there since
they emigrated from Ireland in 1757. She and
John had 7 children - one of their sons, Dugald,
became a doctor and politician, serving in the
House of Commons (1911-1917). In 1914, Sarah
passed away, shortly before the start of WWI.
