Searing Death

Put X Scorch counters on all creatures in play. (If a creature has a Scorch counter, at the beginning of your upkeep, remove a scorch counter and give it a -0/-1 counter. If a creature would die this way, its controller loses 2 life.)
If X is 3 or less, give all creatures "{2}: Remove a Scorch counter from this creature."
