Seemingly Normal Hatchet

There appears to be nothing special about this
hatchet. I guess you could make melee attacks with
it? Throw it at someone? Cut some wood?
Buried was the bloody hatchet;
Buried was the dreadful war-club;
Buried were all warlike weapons,
And the war-cry was forgotten.
