You gain a +2 to your AC and gain resistance to
ranged attacks.
Additionally, whenever an attacker makes a
ranged attack at a target within 10ft of you, you
you become the target instead.
Removing the shield does not remove the curse.
Level 3 and above magic attacks may elect to
ignore your curse.
