Simon's Death

When all of the boys start dancing and chanting about the pig after their feast, Simon comes out of the forest. The boys did not know that this was Simon and the boys killed him thinking he was the beast. This event occurred right after Simon "talked" to the Lord of the Flies. "Surrounded by a fringe of inquisitive bright creatures, itself a silver shape beneath the steadfast constellations, Simon's dead body moved out toward the open sea"
