The simplest aromatic compound is benzene,
it has 3 single and 3 double bonds. Aromatics
have electrons shared throughout the molecule.
This means benzene has 6 bonds that are a half
of a single and double bond.
1. # carbons on the ring. Start #ing at the
C with the highest priority group attached
Use benzene for parent name.
2. Name and # branches (if there is
only one branch do not include #)
3. Put it together (branches + benzene)
