Slave

Slaves weren't born slaves and it was for punishment or penalty. Slaves could buy their own freedom and the slave owners needed to feed, clothe and house the slaves, as law says. Slaves were not public, they were more of a personal servant. The children of the slaves were free and servants could marry freely, own goods, house, and even their own slaves.
