Exile target creature from the battlefield or from a graveyard and look at the exiled creature's owner hand, then choose one:

Steal Life - Gain life equal to double the exiled creature's mana cost.

Borrow Experience - Put X +1/+1 counters on target creature, where X is the exiled creature's
mana cost plus 1.
