Spartan Warriors

Spartan warriors were all male, undergoing a brutal education from 6 years old and a fitness test around the age of 18 to 20, which had the consequences of losing their citizenship and becoming a 'perioidos' if they failed - a useless human being with no rights, only
to be used as a slave. However, if they passed, they
were expected to stay in the army until the age of 60! Spartan warriors were feared across the land for their brutality and skill and fought in many famous battles.
