Remove an upgrade counter from Surge, the Protector: put a Stage counter on Surge, the Protector. Surge, the Protector gets +1/+1 for each stage counter on him. Surge, the Protector has flying if he has one stage counter, he has flying, and reach if he has two stage counters, and flying, reach and deathtouch if he has three stage counters on him
