X is that creature's converted mana cost. When
"The cell of the abyss" is put into your graveyard
from the battlefield, you may put a creature card
from your graveyard onto the battlefield with
X -1/-1 counters on it, where X is the converted
mana cost of another nontoken creature
you control.
