The Child of Omelas

Whenever a creature you control takes
damage, you may pay {x} where X is equal
to the damage taken. If you do, all damage
dealt is dealt to The Child of Omelas instead.
Whenever you take combat damage, you may
discard that many cards. For each card
discarded, prevent 1 point of combat damage,
and reassign that damage to The Child of
Omelas.
