The Departure of Odysseus

{p/u}Action card: Due to Helen's vanity and deranged
lust, she and the prince of Troy had run off with the
treasure of King Menelaus. Unfortunately for
Penelope, her only companion in Ithaca, Odysseus,
had sworn an oath to Menelaus to wage war and
retrieve Helen back; which leaves her isolated in the
forlorn palace.

"I was devastated at the thought of having to stay
in Ithaca without Odysseus. What joy would there be
for me, alone in the palace.
" - Penelope
