A deck can have any number of cards named The Egg. “What Egg?” — If The Egg would be put into a graveyard from anywhere, exile it instead. You can’t cast The Egg from your hand.The Man Behind the Tree — {3}: Search your library for a card named The Egg and put it into your hand. This ability costs {1} less to activate for each Amalgamate you control. Persistent Anomaly — When you cast The Egg from exile, you may Meld target creature you control with a creature card in your graveyard that shares a mana value with it. The resulting permanent is a single object represented by two cards.Flavor: “You put the Egg in the fridge. Now there are two Eggs. You put those in the fridge... something is wrong.
