The Great Gatsby Has Died

"After Gatsby's death the East was haunted for me
like that, distorted beyond my eyes' power of
correction... I decided to come back home" (176)
Everybody believed that Gatsby was driving the
car that killed Myrtle. Myrtle's husband, George, decides to kill Gatsby and leaves him on top of a mattress floating on a pool. Nick decides to move
back home as everything is strange after the
murder. The black represents Gatsby's death.
