The Kitchen Counter

Whenever a spell or ability is countered, put a counter counter on The Kitchen Counter.

If one or more counters would be put on another permanent you control, instead put that many plus the number of counter counters on The Kitchen Counter of that type on that permanent.

If a counter counter would be placed on The Kitchen Counter that would cause the number of counter counters to exceed 5, instead sacrifice a permanent you control for each counter in excess.
