The Moor

Mary felt as if the drive would never come to an end and that the wide, bleak moor was a wide expanse of black ocean through which she was passing on a strip of dry land.
The first time the moor was introduced it was late into the night only showing the darker sides of it. When Mary realizes the beauty of nature she allows us to see the beauty of the moor which was covered in flowers
