The One Ring

The One Ring or the Ring of Power represents power. We can see throughout this story that it grants amazing powers to its wearer and will make them almost invincible. "The ring felt very cold as it quietly slipped on to his groping forefinger. Gollum passed by, taking no notice of him." -Narrator. In this quote we see that the ring went on Bilbo and Gollum couldn't see him.
