The Other Side

Whenever a non-token creature dies, exile it with a shadow counter instead of putting it into a graveyard.

At the beginning of each player’s end step, they may pay 2 life and sacrifice a creature. If they do, return a card they own exiled with a shadow counter to the battlefield tapped.

If The Other Side leaves the battlefield, exile all cards with shadow counters on them.
