The Townshend Acts

Whenever your opponent attacks they must pay {1} for each attacking creature.
The Townshend Acts taxed tea, lead, glass, paper, and
paint. It also cracked down on smuggling and forced
New York to pay for the lodging of British soldiers. The Townshend Acts were named after Charles Townshend,
a British official who helped pass these new taxes and
laws.
