The West Egg

"I lived at West Egg - the least fashionable of the
two..."
(9)
The West Egg is also a very important setting in
the book. This is where Nick and Gatsby live. It is considered the less fashionable of the two places.
It is not as glamorous and is where the wealthy
flaunt their money. The gold represents their
wealth and the red represents their arrogance.
The black represents that it is not as nice as the
East Egg and is darker.
