Whenever Thistle the Unbreakable takes damage, prevent that damage. Then put a -1/-1 counter on him and put a 1/1 black leg creature token on the battlefield.
At the beginning of your upkeep, sacrifice all leg creatures you control and remove that many -1/-1 counters from Thistle the Unbreakable.
