Thomas Paine and Common Sense

When card is in hand, take two cards from
opponent's hand.
Thomas Paine published Common Sense in 1776,
which challenged the British government. It is credited
with advocating independence and uniting average
citizens and political leaders. More importantly, it
changed the overall public view of the United States,
from self-loathing to confidence.
