Whatever happens to the enchanted player, happens three times as much to the source. (If the player is dealt 3 damage, the source of that damage is dealt 9 damage. If a creature the player controls is destroyed, three creatures of the source's are destroyed. If the player gains 3 life, the source of that gains 9 life.)
