At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that
player chooses artifacts, enchantments or
creatures. Then each player sacrifices a
permanent of that type they control with the
highest converted mana cost unless they pay that permanent's mana cost. If two or more
permanents a player controls are tied for highest
cost, that player chooses one.
