Position of defending on both ends of your
country. A strategy used by the Germans in
WWI, which was also a factor of the failure of the Schlieffen Plan. The Germans imagined that they
were strong enough to split their army into two,
and fight on both ends. However, the other
countries were way stronger, and the plan
fumbled quick. (31)
