An island in the South Pacific Ocean, independent of
other island chains. Highest elevation 2054 m, area
12.5 km². Known to have regular volcanic eruptions,
but the resulting flow is a water solution of sodium
acetate, carbon dioxide, and FD&C Red 40. A sound
similar to that of a child's laughter can be heard
during eruption events.
