Uterus
The uterus, also called the womb, is the organ of pregnancy and the
largest of the organs of the female reproductive system of most
mammals.
It is a muscular, hollow, pear-shaped, intraperitoneal organ,
located in the lesser pelvis of women that, when it adopts the
anteverted position, rests on the urinary bladder in front, while
the rectum is behind.
