When humans first landed on Mars in 2020, they set up a small mining area in Valles Marineris to mine out the precious minerals within. As time went on and Mars was bombarded by nuclear missiles; a large amount of heat was being released from the cracks of the ground. Water pools started to form around it and so came the land race to acquire valuable targets such as this.
