Sliver creatures you control have: "Whenever this creature deals damage to another creature or planeswalker, put a mark counter on that
permanent" and: "Whenever this creature deals
damage to a creature or planeswalker with
a mark counter, destroy that permanent".
When Thomas saw the mark on his friends arm, he
ran. He knew there was no hope for him.
