Vyke, the Sorespear is red in addition to its other
colors and types.

At the beginning of combat on your turn, you may
pay {r}. If you do, create a Shabriri Grape. (It's an artifact that has "{r}, {t}, Sacrifice this artifact:
Deal 1 damage to target creature or player. Put a
madness counter on that target.)

Vyke gets +1/+1 for each madness counter among
players and permanents.
