War Guilt Clause

An article that was present in the Treaty of Versailles. It declared how Germany was fully responsible for starting WWI. This assessment
was part of the long term causes of WWII since it
made part of Germany extremely upset. As
Germany used to be one of the most powerful countries, they were forced to take blame and
accept that they were in the wrong for WWI,
which made them look weak. (55)
