This gem functions as an enhanced Casting Focus.
While holding it, you gain a +1 bonus to your
spell attack rolls and spell damage rolls.
While attuned to this item you learn the spell
Witch Bolt, and can cast it once per day at first
level without expending a spell slot. When you
cast the spell, you can use your bonus action to maintain the beam instead of taking an action.
