Womanhood & Feminism

Theme: Atwood describes "The Odyssey" through the
different perspective of Penelope and the maids, whilst
displaying the physical and psychological pressures of
women in ancient Greece. The theme of feminism is
particularly shown through the main character
Penelope,as she describes her feelings towards the
patriarchal society.
