({p/w} can be payed with either {w} or 2 life) Wordsmith cannot be exiled and does not affect creatures with hexproof or shroud. Creatures you control can only be blocked by wordy creatures. Creatures your opponents control must have 6 lines of rule text instead of 4 to be wordy. All creatures you control are wordy, even if they don't have 4 or more lines of rule text. Whenever a non-wordy creature you control attacks, you gain life equal to half of that creatures power and toughness, rounded up.
