Consolidation into one Party

After the Reichstag fire, Hitler used the event to blame the communist party and subsequently outlaw them. He then began to place doubts in the German people’s minds about all other political parties to turn them all against any party that wasn’t the Nazis. This gave him limited opposition as he slowly picked off the political parties until only the Nazi party remained.
