At the beginning of your upkeep you may put

you control to an opponent of your choice.
You may craw a card for each permanent
given
this way, if you do pay 1 life for each card drawn.
Creatures your opponents control cannot attack
you unless they pay 1 life for each permanent they control, but don't own
