Hitler’s Lebensraum
In defiance of the Treaty of Versailles, Hitler furthered the
concept of “Lebensraum,” by broadcasting his perspective on
Germany’s entitlement to European power through “re-gaining” and
imperializing territories. This expansion effort became fruitful in
the invasion of Austria and Czechoslovakia. Through invading these
countries, rich in natural resources, he was able to rearm and
economically isolate the German state.
