Lexington and Concord

Lexington and Concord was the first battle of the American Revolution. As the British approached Lexington, they were met by 70 minutemen who had been alerted by Paul Revere and William Dawes. A shot was fired and then both sides let loose an exchange of bullets. When the fighting ended, eight minutemen were dead. The British then moved on to Concord where waiting minutemen turned them back.
