Philadelphia

Philadelphia was another important city in the American Revolution. The first and second Continental Congresses met in Philadelphia. The Declaration of Independence was created and signed here. Philadelphia was the site of the Constitutional Convention where the United States Constitution was formed. It was briefly occupied by the British during the Revolution and was briefly the capital city from 1790 - 1800.
