Mr. Craven

He had not meant to be a bad father, but he had not felt like a father at all.
...he was a man who for ten years has kept his mind filled with dark and heart-broken thinking. He had not been courageous; he had never tried to put any other thoughts in the place of the dark ones.
Mr. Craven is the father of Colin but he never truly acted as one. Towards the end of the story, he realizes how unfair he was being to
