Ulysses S. Grant

Ulysses S. Grant was a general for the Union
side of the Civil War. Serving from 1839, to
1854 in the war, Grant also was our 18th
U.S. President, two elections after Lincoln.
He was a very good general in the Civil
War, and he had a memorial built for him
in Manhattan, New York.
