You may have your cake...

This card enters the battlefield with 8 "Slice" counters on it.
At the beginning of your upkeep, you may
remove a "Slice" counter from this card. If you
do, put a +1/+1 counter on target creature. If
you control a card named "...and eat it too!!", you
put 2 +1/+1 counters on that creature instead.
Then, if this card has 0 "Slice" counters on it,
put it into your graveyard.
